I'm trying to be more strategic when it comes to decorating. Last year I made Rudolph characters, and while I loved how they turned out, they involved about 10 colors overall and were super time intensive.
When I first decided to do the Grinch, I considered doing his dog, Max, too. But that would have involved a few more colors, which means more bottles and more mess! So I opted to stick with the Grinch himself and some "growing" hearts.
I made the hearts last, after several hours of doing the Grinch cookies. By that time I was kind of over it and they turned out pretty sloppy. I'm just going to say they look very Seussian and be okay with that.
I'm a Pittsburgher with a new found love of baking. This blog will serve as a place for me to share both my successes and misadventures in the kitchen.
